Chairman, CEO and Director
Brian Groves has over 30 years of experience in Australia and Canadian mining and exploration. He has been involved in exploration for coal, gold, diamonds and base metals with AMAX Minerals, Noranda and Placer Dome. Since 2003, Mr. Groves served as chief executive officer of two TSX Venture Exchange-listed exploration companies and now is a director of two TSX Venture Exchange-listed companies. He has valuable experience in corporate strategy, capital markets, and project development and permitting.
President & Director
Jeff Sundar has nineteen years of experience in the capital markets and mineral exploration sector. Mr. Sundar is responsible for the company’s corporate development, marketing, and financing.
Jeff was a Director of Northern Empire Resources which was acquired by Coeur Mining for $117 million for the Sterling Gold project in October 2018.
He was also a Director and VP of Underworld Resources which discovered the 1.6 million oz White Gold deposit in west-central Yukon, and was subsequently acquired by Kinross Gold for $138 million in June 2010.
Andre is a geologist that has had experience in Canada and internationally for exploration companies since 1981. Most recently he served six years as geologist at Excellon Resources at the Platosa Mine - the Mexico’s highest grade silver producer.
Prior to that he did field evaluation of gold epithermal properties in Peru and Mexico. Also M. Liboiron was senior geologist for Unigold in Dominican Republic, Cambior in Peru, Metco Resources in Quebec, Pershimco Resources in Abitibi and Mexico, Melkior Resources in Quebec and Ontario and Cyprus Amax Minerals in Africa.
He was a project geologist with Ageos Science charged to carry out exploration programs on primary gold and base metals deposits in Precambrian formations of the Abitibi greenstone belt in Canada. Notably he supervised the exploration work which lead to the opening of the StrateMine Graphite Mine in Quebec, Canada.
ADRIAN FLEMING, P. GEO
Adrian Fleming is a professional geologist with over 40 years of technical and executive experience with exploration and development stage mining companies.
Adrian was a founding Director of Northern Empire Resources which was acquired by Coeur Mining for $117 million for the Sterling Gold project in October 2018
He was also the co-founder and President of Underworld Resources from 2006-2010. Mr. Fleming led the team which made the discovery and defined the maiden resource of the million-ounce White Gold deposit, located in the White Gold district, Yukon. The project was subsequently acquired by Kinross in 2010 for $138M.
Mr. Fleming was involved with gold discoveries and/or developments at Porgera in PNG, Big Bell in Western Australia, Gross Rosebel in Suriname and Hope Bay in Nunavut.

Shawn has over twelve years of experience in the capital markets and mineral exploration and development sector. Mr. Khunkhun is involved in the company's marketing, financing and corporate development. He has developed long-standing relationships with an extensive network of high net worth investors, analysts, brokers, investment bankers and private equity groups.
JOHN FLOREK, P.GEO, MSC
John is a geologist with over 25 years of experience in exploration and development. Prior to joining Genesis Metals Ltd. He was Sr. Geologist with Barrick Gold at Hemlo Mines. He was intimately involved with extending the mine life at Hemlo Mines, and was part of the team that received the 2008 Developer of the Year Award, awarded by the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association.
ROBERT SCOTT, C.A.
Robert is an accountant with over 20 years of professional experience in the, corporate finance and merchant banking and is a CA and a CFA charterholder. Since March, 2007, Mr. Scott has served as the chief financial officer of Riverside Resources Inc., a TSX Venture Exchange-listed mineral exploration company with early-stage mineral projects in Mexico. He is also a co-founder and director of Pan American Hydro Corp., a developer of small hydro projects in Latin America.
KEENAN HOHOL M.A., J.D
Keenan Hohol has over 20 years of international legal, commercial and managerial advisory experience. He has focused on the minerals exploration, development and production industry since 2005, including executive leadership roles since 2009. He most recently served as General Counsel at Pan American Silver, prior to which he was VP of Legal and General Counsel at Silver Standard Resources; Global Head of Legal at Western Coal Corp.; and interim General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and VP of Legal, Canadian and European operations, at Walter Energy, after its $3.2B acquisition of Western Coal Corp. Mr. Hohol also served as General Counsel, Minerals Exploration, at BHP Billiton, and has years of private practice legal advisory experience in Canada, the U.S. and Europe, including with pre-eminent law firms Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, Cravath Swaine & Moore, and Baker & McKenzie.
ROBERT MCLEOD, MSc, P. GEO
Mr. McLeod is the President and CEO of IDM Mining Ltd., advancing the Red Mountain gold deposit in British Columbia. Previously, he was founder and VP Exploration of Underworld Resources. Kinross Gold Corporation acquired Underworld for $140M after an initial resource estimate of over 1.4Moz gold at the White gold Deposit in the Yukon. He is a highly technical, creative and innovative exploration geologist. He has over twenty years' experience in mining and mineral exploration, working for a variety of major and junior mining companies. Mr. McLeod's exploration strategy is a multi-tiered approach, including: conceptual geologic ideas with prospecting, early-stage project advancement focusing on discovery, and advancing mid-stage projects towards feasibility. As an exploration geologist and project manager at Miramar's Hope Bay project, Mr. McLeod was part of the team that discovered the Naartok deposit, as well as expanding and delineating the Boston and Doris deposits. He was previously Vice-President of Exploration for Atna Resources and is currently a director of Independence Gold Corp and Gold Standard Ventures. He is graduate of Geology from the University of British Columbia, with an M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from Queens University. He is a member of AMEBC as a Professional Geologist, and is an active member and volunteer in multiple industry and geological societies. Mr. McLeod is a member of Doug Casey’s ‘NEXTEN’ list of young mineral explorers and executives.
ERIC LEMIEUX, MSc, P. GEO
Éric Lemieux, is a professional geologist and mining analyst based in Québec, Canada. He is an independent technical advisor for EBL Consultants Enr. Most recently, Éric was consulting technical advisor with PearTree Securities Inc. of Toronto, a leading provider of flow through share donation financing (FTSDF) services in Canada. Previously he was with Laurentian Bank Securities in Montreal as a sell-side mining analyst. His coverage included gold, base-metal, diamond and uranium exploration and development issuers as well as unconventional shale oil and gas plays in Québec. He also acted as an independent consultant with various clients including the Québec Securities Commission (Autorité des marches financiers), the New Brunswick Securities Commission where he was responsible for applying Regulation NI 43-101. As well, Éric was in the 1990’s a geologist-analyst with the Montreal Exchange and managed previously exploration projects for Cambior, Noranda and SOQUEM. These positions as project geologist permitted to develop a very good knowledge of the planning, execution and management of mineral exploration programs.
Éric holds two master's degrees, one in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines (1997) and in another in Metamorphic-Structural Geology from Laval University in Quebec City (1992) and a B.Sc. in Geology from Laval University (1989).
Dr. ROB CARPENTER
Robert Carpenter is a Professional Geoscientist with over 25 years of technical and executive experience for junior and major mining companies. He was co-founder and President and CEO of Kaminak Gold Corporation from 2005 to 2013 and led the company through the acquisition, discovery and maiden resource of the multi-million ounce Coffee Gold Project, located in the White Gold District, Yukon. The project was subsequently acquired by Goldcorp Inc in 2016.
He has received awards from the Association for Mineral Exploration of British Columbia for excellence in mineral exploration (2013) and social and environmental stewardship (2008).
He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Western Ontario in 2004 where he worked on the newly discovered Meliadine Lake gold deposits that are currently owned by Agnico Eagle. Rob is also a Director of White Gold Corp, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Dr. ANDREW RAMCHARAN
Dr. Ramcharan has over 18 years’ experience in operations, project evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, project finance and investor relations.
During his career, Andrew has worked for a number of well-respected companies including IAMGOLD Corporation, Sprott Resources and Resource Capital Funds.
He holds a B.Eng degree in Mining Engineering, and a Master’s and Ph.D degree in Mining and Minerals Economics. Andrew is a Registered Member of The Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) in USA, Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada and Fellow of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. A graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, University of Leoben, Andrew has also completed Harvard University’s Continuing Education program.
Garrett Ainsworth is the President, CEO, and Director of MK2 Ventures Ltd. Prior to MK2, Mr. Ainsworth was the Vice President Exploration and Development for NexGen Energy Ltd. from June 2014 to April 2018. He led the technical team with the rapid expansion of NexGen’s Arrow Uranium Deposit, as well as multiple high-grade uranium discoveries on the Rook I property in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. Mr. Ainsworth was co-recipient of the PDAC Bill Dennis Award in March 2018 for the discovery and development of the Arrow Deposit.
Before NexGen, Mr. Ainsworth was co-recipient of the AME BC Colin Spence Award in 2013. This honour was in recognition of his efforts which led to the discovery of the high-grade uranium mineralized system on the Patterson Lake South Project in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. He was the Project Manager and oversaw the staking of new claims, the discovery of a high-grade boulder field, and drill hole discoveries at the R00E, R390E, and R780E high-grade uranium zones.
Mr. Ainsworth’s academic background includes a Diploma of Technology in Mining and Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Engineering with honours from BCIT, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology with first class honours from Birkbeck, University of London.
